John Wayne in an action-packed Zane Grey western from the days just before he became the biggest movie star of all. He plays Dare Rudd, a cowpoke who gets involved in a big cattle drive – and with the sister of the cows’ owner. There’s ridin’ and shootin’ and gamblin’ galore in this enjoyable oater from the golden age of the B-Western.

Director Charles Barton was one of Hollywood’s most prolific craftsmen. He went on to direct many films starring Abbott and Costello, including their classic ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN.
