The East Side Kids decide to fix up a new home for Glimpy's surprisingly beautiful sister (Ava Gardner the sister of Huntz Hall? Clearly one of them was adopted). And because none of them is particularly bright, they start working on the wrong place. The trouble is, itís a haunted house and the Kids soon find themselves in the middle of some strange goings-on and being terrorized by Bela Lugosi. Itís scary to them, hilarious to us.

This was a very early screen appearance for Ava Gardner who had shown up onscreen mostly in uncredited bit parts.
