A true classic among early-Sixties sci-fi/horror films, THE CRAWLING HAND scared the hell out of many kids in its original release. Directed by the prolific Herbert L. Strock, the plot is fairly simple: After an astronaut's space capsule is blown-up in orbit, a teenager finds a severed arm among wreckage on earth. Soon the thing returns to life to murder and take control of the young man's mind. This picture is chock full of horny teenagers, rock 'n roll music and high school angst.
Swedish starlet Sirry Steffen was billed on the posters as "The Sex Iceberg," whatever that means!
