Gene Autry gets involved with crooked lumbermen and when he tries to take him down, they frame him for another crime. Well, our Gene doesn’t take stuff like this lying down and he slugs and shoots his way to justice. And along the way, there’s time for a little romance and plenty of great songs in the Autry style. An action packed b-western as only America’s Favorite Singing Cowboy could make ‘em.

One of the bad guys is played by Clayton Moore. This same year he began the TV series that would make him a legend – THE LONE RANGER.
